Download: Memtest 86+ 2.10 - memory test

If one of the installed memory modules of a system is damaged, this isn't always obvious: Instead of shutting down or preventing the boot sequence, the memory is still running but causes crashes from time to time. If you suspect your RAM to be corrupt, you can use a memory test to check the hardware.

Memtest 86+ is based on the classical Metest 86 and does a good job. A full run requires quite some time, but is very successful in finding errors. Unfortunately the program is not running under Windows - you have to start it from a boot medium like a USB stick, a floppy disk or a bootable CD.

The new version 2.10 offers support for new platforms, like Intel's Core i7. You can download all versions from the developers' website (Download Memtest 86+ 2.10). Registered users can download the ISO file of the bootable CD version from our servers.
