More memory space for everyone

Microsoft increases the capacity of its free online hard drive

Author: Jan Trommler (Nov 14, 2008) - For a while Microsoft provided the free online data storage service Skydrive to Windows Live members. The service has now been extensively updated.
For users of Microsoft’s online hard drive Skydrive 25 Gigabyte memory space are available soon.
For users of Microsoft’s online hard drive Skydrive 25 Gigabyte memory space are available soon.
The biggest change is the increase of the storage capacity from five to 25 Gigabyte. Furthermore an online slideshow has been added and it is now possible to upload pictures into the Windows Live Photo Gallery, to move files within the folders and to copy files simultaneously into several folders. Complete folders can be downloaded as Zip archive and data saved on Skydrive can be exchanged with non Windows Live members. Besides, the look and handling have been adjusted to Windows Live even more.
