With the PCI-E 2.0 16x slots for CrossfireX and 3-way SLI Gigabyte wants to satisfy high-end gamers and enthusiasts who want to use more than one AMD or Nvidia graphics card.

The features "Ultra Durable 3” and "Hybrid Silent-Pipe 2” are supposed to lower the system temperature and to increase the overclocking capabilities. According to gigabyte the "Dynamic Energy Saver” lowers the power requirements of the system by shutting off power supply phases in standby mode for example.

The tool "EasyTune6” has been redesigned and enables the user to optimize voltages and system settings in Windows. DualBIOS” represents the use of two BIOS chips, in order to have one Eeeprom at the ready if one chip suffers from a failed BIOS update. Gigabyte also integrates the Audio-Suite Dolby Home Theater, a sound solution for stereo and surround systems.
