Legendary - The Box: System requirements
Legendary - The Box is based on the Unreal Engine 3. Thus you have accordingly system requirements. The most important component is a fast CPU, but also a middle-class graphics card is required.

Minimal system requirements
• Operating system: Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista
• Processor: Intel Pentium D 2.6 GHz / AMD Athlon X2 3800+
• Memory: 2 GiByte
• Hard drive: 9,5 GiByte
• Graphics card: Geforce 7600 GT or better / Radeon X1600 or better

Recommended system requirements
• Operating system: Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista
• Processor: Dual-core CPU with 2.0 GHz or better
• Memory: 4 GiByte
• Hard drive: 9.5 GiByte
• Graphics card: Geforce 8800 GT or better / Radeon HD 3850 or better

Legendary - The Box: Video options
In our version the menu "PC-Audio-Video-Options” offers the graphics options. You can adjust the screen resolution and the system configuration. We had to activate Anisotropic Filtering in the ini-file. MSAA could be activated by renaming the legendary.exe into UT3.exe and adding the entry "MaxMultisamples=x” to the PandoraEngine.ini.

Attention: Our version is NOT final.

All screenshots were taken at a resolution of 1,680 x 1,050 with a Geforce GTX 260-192. We downsized them to 1.280 x 800. On the next pages you can find comparisons between the individual graphics settings. In the gallery there are some additional shots.

Unfortunately you are right there, but it's the best we could get out of the game up to now.
The problem is that Legendary uses a save point system like known from many popular console games. This means that we can't go to am interesting position that shows many visual effects and quick save/quick load the game. We rather have to load the save game and walk to the scene we want to take a sceenshot of. This process isn't really satisfying since it is tricky to get to the exact same position.

But we will keep an eye out for better occasions that possibly show the differences in a better way.

Sorry, but the reference screenshot used here isn't the best example for a comparison article.. More or less it looks same under most settings with just shadow changes..
