Windows Vista SP2 - First Build
A first screenshot that shows the first build of Service Pack 2 for Windows Vista already occurred on winfuture.de. This version has been sent to a small group of testers recently.
The currently delivered build carries the string 6002.16489.lh_sp2beta.080924-1740 and the version tag v.105. Accordingly this early prerelease version has been created on September, 24 and thus is older than four weeks says
winfuture.de.
In Addition to Windows Search 2, Microsoft will deliver several updates that increase compatibility with several applications. Furthermore support for VIA's 64 Bit CPUs and Bluetooth Wireless will be added.
In about four weeks the first Beta versions of the Service Pack are supposed to be available to selected testers.
