Geforce 180.10 Beta: The “Big Bang 2“ driver delivers multi-monitoring support for SLI

When it was released the “Big Bang” driver delivered SLI to the retail market. The “Big Bang 2”, represented by the Geforce 180.10 Beta, enables the use of multi-monitoring with SLI setups. The SLI support for Intel’s X58 motherboard chipset is another new feature.

The inf file of the Geforce Beta lists the models 9800 GX2, 9800 GTX/GTX+ and the two GTX200 (GTX 260 and GTX 280) – GTX 290 or GTX 270 are not mentioned. The driver is dated to October 1, 2008 and a version for Vista x64 is available for download at tom toomanydownloads.com – use of the driver at one’s own risk!
