Author: Daniel Möllendorf (Sep 17, 2008) - We just received a sample of DFI's Lanparty JR 790GX-M2RS. The online shop
www.hpm-computer.de supplied us with the motherboard. Our screenshots reveal the equipment and some special features of the Micro-ATX board.

The DFI board is said to have very good overclocking capabilities. We will check how well the 790GX board will do in combination with the new SB750 Southbridge. The abbreviation "JR” stands for "Junior”, since the 790GX-M2RS is a Micro-ATX board. DFI's Lanparty DK 790GX-M2RS on the other hand is a full ATX board.
Therefore the Junior version is suitable for compact HTPCs of course. But due to a complex cooling system, two graphics slots and diagnostic LEDs, it is interesting for gamers and overclockers, too. You can find additional pictures of the Lanparty JR 790GX-M2RS in our gallery.
