AMD's Phenom X3 8750 itself is a familiar customer already. The new thing is the Black Edition with its free multiplier which makes it easier to overclock the processor. The specifications don't change: Each of the three cores runs at 2.4 GHz and has access to 512 KiByte L2 cache. The L3 cache is 2 MiByte big. The CPU is not available yet.
The Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 is the first processor of the 8000 series with four cores. The clock speed of 2.33 GHz result from the 333 megahertz FSB and the multiplier of 7. In contrast to the Q9000 series the Q8200 only has 4 MiByte L2 cache.
