two Radeon HD 4870 X2, there are details about a Radeon HD 4870 with 1 GiByte video memory on the
homepage.
With the R4870-T2D1G MSI announces a Radeon HD 4870 with 1 GiByte video memory (picture: tcmagazine.com)
The card is called
R4870-T2D1G and is based on AMD's 55 nanometer GPU RV770 and will be equipped with 1,024 MiByte GDDR5 memory. MSI keeps a tight lip about the clock speeds. But according to
tcmagazine.com, they will match the default values of a HD 4870 with 512 MiByte GDDR5. Recommended retail price and release date of the
R4870-T2D1G are unknown up to now.
