According to Techconnect Fujitsu-Siemens started to ship the first units. A special component in the power supply units of the displays totally disconnects the devices from the electric system as soon as the PC activates the standby mode. If the computer sends a signal, the display is reconnected and supplied with energy.

At first there will be two models of the zero watt displays. The P20W-5 ECO is a 20 inch display and the P22W-5 ECO has a screen size of 22 inches. Both have a native resolution of 1,680 x 1,050 and a DVI, a VGA and a HDMI connector. According to Fujitsu-Siemens the response time is 5 milliseconds.
