Intel's Nehalem CPUs will be called Core i7. (picture: Expreview)
Expreview wants to have learned that
Intel will introduce brand and logotype next Monday. The black version will once again represent the
Extreme Edition while the normal processors will bear the blue logo.
But not only the
Bloomfield processors, but all future CPUs based on the Nehalem architecture will run by the new name. Therefore
Lynnfield and
Havendale - expected in 2009 - are said to be called i7, too.
