Because appropriate value shipments of the RV710 and RV730 cannot be delivered in time, AMD will, according to Fudzilla, rename the HD 3000 series. With a new BIOS, OEMs are said to be able to sell cards of the HD 34x0, HD36x0 and HD38x0 series as members of the HD 4xx0 family. The name HD 4250 is rumored and it is assumed that the original RV710 will be called HD 4450.
