Author: Jan Trommler (Jul 08, 2008) - As our colleagues at PC Games
report, GSC Gameworld published the cover of the US version of Stalker Clear Sky, which reveals the system requirements, too.
The system requirements of Stalker Clear Sky almost fully match those of Shadow of Chernobyl.
Fortunately the minimal system requirements match with those of the predecessor
Shadow of Chernobyl. So if your PC has at least a Pentium 4 processor with 2 GHz respectively an Athlon XP 2200+, 512 MiByte RAM and a DirectX 9 graphics card with 128 MiByte video memory, you are good to go.
Who on the other hand doesn't want to accept compromise regarding the visuals, needs a CPU from an
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 and upwards respectively an
Athlon 64 X2 4200+ or higher, 1.5 GiByte RAM and a graphics card with 256 MiByte video memory. Additionally you should have up to ten GiByte of free space on your hard drive.
The package doesn't tell anything about the requirements of the DX 10 mode. But those are supposed to be even higher than the recommended system requirements.
Stalker Clear Sky is said to be released on August 29th in a default and a Collector's Edition.
